(Ayatollah) Taleghani Educational Hospital with 31 years of medical practice is one of the medical educational, and treatment centers affiliated to Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences.
The hospital was constructed in 1978. A year following the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, in 1980, it was named after Ayatollah Taleghani, one of the great founders of the Islamic Revolution, and was affiliated to Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences.
The hospital academic staff who are 86 specialists provide services in 6 post specialties including vascular surgery, endocrine, digestion, nephrology, hematology & medical oncology, and bone marrow transplantation, which is unique in the university, and 10 specialties including pediatrics, cardiology, obstetrics & GYN, maxillofacial, general surgery, orthopedics, psychiatry, iodine therapy, ENT, and kidney transplantation, as well as 3 special wards which include CCU, ICU, and NICU.
